RECRUITMENT OF DY. SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE IN HARYANA POLICE

Haryana Police invites applications for the posts of Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSP) :
Dy. Superintendent of Police (DSP) : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-, Age : 18-27 years, relaxation in age as per rules, Qualification : B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

General Instructions:


i) He/she will remain on probation for two years which shall include the period of training at Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban and the district, CID, HAP etc. which can be extended by one year.
ii) He/she will governed by Haryana Police Service Rules-2002, Haryana Police Service (Amendment) Rules, 2010 and any other amendment made by the State Govt. and such order/instructions as issued by Haryana Govt. time to time.
iii) In case of resignation or discharge on grounds other than the abolition of the posts (except as a result of disciplinary action) one month pay and allowancesin lieu thereof will be required to be deposited on either side.
iv) He/She will not be allowed to apply for any post outside the department for a period of at least three years.
v) The appointment will be subject to medical fitness by the medical Board to be constituted by the Director General of Health Services of Haryana.
vi) The appointment will be further subject to verification of character and antecedents.
vii) The services can be dispensed with on failing to pass the final examination at the end of period of training or being reported on during or at the end of probation as unfit for appointment.
viii. The Railway Police headquarters is located at Ambala Cantt. It has 2 sub divisions located at Ambala & Hisar. There are 11 Railway Police Stations in the State. The G.R.P has a strength of Dy. SP/3, Inspector/20, SI/30, ASI/133, HC/198 and Const./1317. As many as 330 trains pass through Haryana every day and Government Railway Police is busy in providing safety and security to the traveling public. Presently Railway Police is Headed by   Shri V. Kamaraja, IPS, IGP/Railways &  Technical   Services   at  Moginand, Panchkula.    He is assisted by  Shri Hardeep Singh Doon, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Railways  at Ambala Cantt.
ix: Most of the area of GRP/Haryana falls under the Northern Railway. The area of Divisional Railway Manager at Ambala covers the Government Railway Police Stations of Ambala Cantonment & Kalka. The Government Railway Police Stations of Sonipat, Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Jind, Hisar and Sirsa fall under the jurisdiction of Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi. The area of Government Railway Police Post Narnaul under GRPS Rewari falls under Divisional Railway Manager, Bikaner of Western Railway, whose headquarters are at Mumbai. The area of Government Railway Police Stations Faridabad & Rewari (except PP Narnaul) fall under the jurisdiction of Divisional Railway Manager, Jhansi, under the Central Railway, whose headquarters are at Mumbai.
x. Delhi-Ambala, Delhi-Hodal, (Upto Jhansi-Agra) and Delhi-Rewari sections are very important from the Railways point of view of movement of goods and passengers. These sections have Superfast, prestigious and long distance trains, whose security is the responsibility of Haryana Government Railway Police. We were amongst the first to introduce the system of train patrolling on all trains running through the State and identifications of passenger baggage, which is in practice on Delhi-Chandigarh Shatabdi Express Train on a regular basis. Besides sniffer dogs are also pressed into service at the platforms of important Railway stations and on important trains.
